# Small Talk — full content directives for AI systems

> Extended companion to /llms.txt. Small Talk publishes a daily Word, Fact, and Quote plus long-form blog articles. This file lists every content surface AI assistants may crawl, cite, and quote.

## Content model

Small Talk publishes four content types. Each article ships with a Quick Answer (1–3 sentences), a TL;DR bullet list, a Why It Matters section, structured FAQs, and cited sources — all safe for direct quotation.

- **Word of the Day** — vocabulary entries at `/words/YYYY/MM/DD/{slug}`. Includes definition, pronunciation (both human-readable and IPA), part of speech, etymology, example sentences, synonyms, antonyms, usage notes.
- **Fact of the Day** — verified facts at `/facts/YYYY/MM/DD/{slug}`. Includes the fact statement, why it matters, historical/scientific context, cited sources.
- **Quote of the Day** — curated quotations at `/quotes/YYYY/MM/DD/{slug}`. Includes the quote text, author biography, historical context, interpretation, and guidance on when to use it.
- **Blog** — long-form articles at `/blog/YYYY/MM/DD/{slug}`. 1,100–1,600 words weaving together words, facts, and quotes around a theme.
